Bookings are now open for Professional Development’s Aspiring Leader Programme and Exceptional Teaching and Learning Programme, run by national experts and leaders from CELT and Kernow Learning.

Looking into Leadership

The Aspiring Leaders Programme allows teachers to take charge of their professional development so they can confidently take the next step into leadership. It is also beneficial for existing leaders to reinvigorate their practice and builds a supportive peer network. This year long course is full of practical advice and includes visits to high performing schools both locally and outside of Cornwall. (travel and accommodation included). This programme provides teachers translate insightful, inspiring and practical ideas about teaching and learning into effective practice through lively and interactive training. Some schools have chosen to place teachers on this programme who are in their third year of teaching, but it is suitable for teachers at all stages of their career.
