CAPH T2M Primary School Sport Award

And the 2017/18 winner is... Camelford Community Primary School!
 
For the 2017/18 CAPH T2M Primary School of the Year Award a winner for each T2M ambition was chosen, with each school filming a video showcasing their activities. 
 
The videos were premiered at the PE & School Sport Conference on Friday 2nd November 2018 with delegates voting for Camelford as the overall winner.

Award details

For the third yearCAPH and the Cornwall Sports Partnership have teamed up to celebrate primary schools that are delivering excellent practice in PE and School Sport.

For 2018, we are offering not just one award but 6 awards - one for each Time 2 Move Ambition. Tell us about the work you have been doing to drive forward one of the six ambitions:

  • Ambition 1 - Curriculum delivery
  • Ambition 2 - Physical activity, health & wellbeing
  • Ambition 3 - Diverse & inclusive
  • Ambition 4 - Competitions
  • Ambition 5 - Leadership, Coaching & Volunteering
  • Ambition 6 - Community Collaboration

We are looking for nominations that outline how you are meeting your ambition, the impact this had on children, what made it work and how you are moving forward.  The impact of your activity should be evident in 2018, but work may have been going on to contribute to this for a number of years. 

Schools should be a current member of CAPH to apply.

Timeline

30th April 2018 - Nominations close
May and June - Ambition winners chosen, schools informed. Six schools will be filmed and invited to the Cornwall Sports Awards. 
19th October 2018 and 2nd November 2018 - Videos showcased at the CAPH Conference and PE Conference, with the delegates choosing the overall winner.
TBC 2nd November 2018/9th November 2018 - Overall winner announced at Cornwall Sports Awards
